ARCHITECTURE FIRM websites.

Endcap designs websites for architecture and interior design firms. The portfolio filters by project type and gives each project its own page with drawings, photography credits, and the team. People pages state each designer’s credentials the way California law allows, and inquiries reach a principal.

What’s included

What an architecture firm website includes

Every site is designed and built by Endcap, with the pages, forms, and integrations agreed in your proposal.

01

A portfolio that filters

Projects sort by type, such as civic, residential, workplace, and interiors, and each project page gives the location, year, size, and scope.

02

Drawings beside the photographs

Plans, sections, and renderings sit next to the photographs, and every photograph carries the credit your agreement with the photographer requires.

03

People and credentials

Each person has a page with their role, education, and credentials, and titles such as architect and Certified Interior Designer appear only beside people who hold them.

04

Awards and publications

Awards, press, and talks are listed with dates and links, so a selection committee can confirm them.

05

Inquiries and qualifications

Project inquiries ask for the location, building type, and timeline, and public agencies can find your qualifications and a contact for requests for qualifications.

06

Large images that load quickly

Images are sized for each screen and load as they come into view, so a portfolio of large photographs stays fast on a phone.

The Census Bureau counted 117,417 architecture, engineering, and related firms with employees in the United States in 2023, about 34.4 for every 100,000 residents. These metros have the highest concentration among the 200 largest. Each links to a city guide with local numbers and state website rules.

Titles and stamps in California

General information to plan the site around. It is not legal advice; your counsel owns the final wording of any compliance language.

From our work

For La Paz Shopping Center in Laguna Niguel, Endcap redrew and animated the site plan and built the center website around it. We present the plans and drawings in an architecture firm’s portfolio the same way, at sizes that read on a phone.

  • Who can be called an architectIt is a misdemeanor for a person who is not licensed to practice architecture in California to use any term confusingly similar to the word architect, or to advertise in a way that might indicate they are an architect, are qualified to practice architecture, or are an architectural designer (Business and Professions Code section 5536(a)). Source
  • Stamps and sealsAn unlicensed person may not affix a stamp or seal bearing the legend “State of California” or symbols implying a state license to prepare plans (section 5536(b)). A licensed architect’s stamp bears the licensee’s name, license number, and the legends “licensed architect” and “State of California” (section 5536.1(b)). Source
  • Certified Interior DesignerUsing the title Certified Interior Designer, or terms such as “licensed,” “registered,” or “CID” that suggest certification, without a valid certification under sections 5800 and 5801 is an unfair business practice (section 5812). These sections were due to expire on January 1, 2027, and Assembly Bill 2772, approved on September 27, 2026, extends them to January 1, 2031. Source
  • AccessibilityIn California, a violation of the federal ADA is also a violation of the Unruh Civil Rights Act (Civil Code section 51(f)), which sets damages of no less than $4,000 for each offense (section 52(a)). Portfolio images need text alternatives, and project filters should work with a keyboard. Source

Process

HOW A PROJECT
works.

One person runs your project from the first call to launch, and you approve each stage before the next one starts.

  1. 01

    Talk it through

    A short call or text

What the business does, who the website is for, and the material you already have.

  2. 02

    Proposal

    Agreed before we start

Pages, content, schedule, and price, set out in writing before any work begins.

  3. 03

    Design and build

    Usually two to four weeks

You review the design and then the working site, with two rounds of revisions.

  4. 04

    Launch and care

    Hosting and updates

We check every page and form at launch, then look after the site if you choose a care plan.

Client words

IN THEIR
words.

We own ten homes at Casa De Laguna and were still sending people to a site built in 2013. Noah pulled the photos and details out of the old site, designed a logo from the rooflines and the pond, and put the community, the homes and current availability in one place. It’s the first time the website has looked like the place we actually rent.

FAQ

QUESTIONS,
answered.

Anything else? Ask us directly or text Noah at (425) 233-0769.

Can projects filter by type and by designer?

Yes. Projects can be tagged by type, location, and team member, and each person’s page lists the projects they worked on.

How should titles appear on people pages in California?

Use “architect” only for people licensed to practice architecture in California, and “Certified Interior Designer” only for people who hold that certification (Business and Professions Code sections 5536 and 5812). Others can be described by their role, such as designer or project manager. Your counsel should approve the final wording.

Can large photographs load quickly?

Yes. Images are resized and compressed for each screen and load as they come into view, so a large portfolio stays fast on a phone.

Can we add new projects ourselves?

Yes. The site can include a simple way to add projects, or we can add them for you as they are photographed.

How long does an architecture firm website take?

Most websites take two to four weeks once project photographs, credits, and descriptions are ready. The proposal confirms the schedule.

What does it cost?

Projects are quoted after a short conversation about the portfolio, people pages, and integrations involved. Scope, timing, and price are agreed in writing before work begins.
