What they share

WHAT THE BEST
have in common.

Patterns across the 20 sites, checked October 10, 2026.

  1. 01

17 of the 20 sites let visitors filter the portfolio, most often by property type and by region, market, or state; Trammell Crow Company and StreetLights Residential also filter by project status or stage, and Lincoln Property Company filters by the services the firm provided.

  2. 02

19 of the 20 give each project or property its own page on the company site, and 11 of those pages name a specific leasing, asset management, or project contact.

  3. 03

Six show the portfolio on a map next to or in place of the list (Hines, Prologis, Kilroy Realty, Rexford Industrial, Federal Realty, and Hudson Pacific Properties), and seven offer a downloadable brochure, site plan, floorplan, or leasing kit on the property page.

  4. 04

15 of the 20 link a sustainability or ESG page from the main navigation or footer, and 10 link an investor relations site or an investor portal.

Homepage of the Hines website
01

Hines

Houston, TX · Diversified

What it does well

  • The properties page puts the portfolio on a map with a search box for property name or location.
  • The portfolio filters by property type, by the role Hines played (such as developer, owner, or property manager), and by country and city.
  • Each property page lists the address, architect, building size, major tenants, sustainability certifications, and a link to the property's own website.
  • The main menu splits the site into separate sections for investors and for occupiers.

Worth noting

Each property page states the role Hines played, such as developer or asset manager, directly under the property name, and the portfolio can be filtered by that role.

hines.com
Homepage of the Prologis website
02

Prologis

San Francisco, CA · Industrial

What it does well

  • The property search pairs a map with filters for property type, building size, and land size, and it accepts a location or postal code.
  • Search results can be shared by link or downloaded as an XLS or CSV file.
  • Each property page has gallery and map tabs, a downloadable brochure and site plan, and a switch between US and metric units.
  • Property pages name the Prologis contact and the outside leasing broker, each with a direct phone number.

Worth noting

The property search can export its results as an XLS or CSV file, which no other site in this list offers.

prologis.com
Homepage of the Trammell Crow Company website
03

Trammell Crow Company

Dallas, TX · Diversified

What it does well

  • The projects page filters by project status, sector, and office, sorts by most recent, and shows the result count, which was 248 projects when checked.
  • Each project card shows the city, the unit count where it applies, and a status such as In Development or Completed.
  • Project pages list the location, property type, start and completion quarters, architect, contractor, partner, and a named TCC contact.
  • The main menu groups the firm's offering by service, such as build-to-suit and capital markets, and by sector, such as industrial, life science, and data centers.

Worth noting

Project pages carry a timeline with a start quarter and a completion quarter, so projects still under construction are published with the same detail as finished ones.

  • Property pages name the leasing contact and a separate temporary leasing contact, each with a phone number and email address.
  • Property pages offer a site plan download, a leasing kit, directions, and a link to the property's own website.

FAQ

QUESTIONS,
answered.

Anything else? Ask us directly or text Noah at (425) 233-0769.

What should a real estate developer website include?

A portfolio that can be sorted by type, city, and status; a page for each project with its address, size, status, images, and leasing or sales contact; a map; and a clear path for each audience, from tenants and buyers to brokers and investors.

How do developers show projects that are not built yet?

With a coming-soon page that carries the project name, location, renderings or a site plan labeled as conceptual, an expected delivery, and an interest form. The page grows into the full project site as phases are approved.

Does each project need its own website?

Larger projects usually have their own site for leasing or sales, linked from the developer’s portfolio. Smaller projects often work as a detailed page on the company site.

How were these websites chosen?

We reviewed developer websites across property types and regions and kept the 20 whose features we could verify on the site itself, checked October 10, 2026. Each description lists features you can see on the site.

Did Endcap design any of these websites?

No. These are third-party websites shown for review and comment. Our own developer and project work is on the developer websites page and in our portfolio.

How much does a developer website cost?

We quote each project after a short conversation, once we know the pages, content, and features it needs. The proposal lists the deliverables, schedule, and price, and we agree on it before work begins.
